Classes commence on January and complete by September. This is a 3 semester course.

Each Russian academic year comprises of only one (1) semester: courses commence in September/October. Winter vacation is from 15 January to 7 February and summer vacation is from 1 July to 31 August. The
above are approximate dates, and may vary for different
institutions.
Applications for admissions for entrance to the Preparatory Course or the first Academic year of
undergraduate degrees are invited from January to June of each year.
